Hi Jodie,
I hope your check up goes well on friday.I saw my oncologist last friday and now i dont have to see him for another 6 months.
I have to have another ct scan in March,im scanned every 3 months.I had my resection in September and my first Ct scan in December.That came back clear,but im in a lot of pain at the moment.I have just come off all painkillers because i want to have a clear head.I dont think they were really working because the pain is not much worse now that im off them.
I know what you mean about thinking every pain is it coming back.My stomach is still swollen,the oncologist said that i have a collection of fluid still there, it showed up on the last scan but i guess in the scheme of things its nothing major.
How long do they make you wait for the results of your scan? I had to wait a week,im sure it was the longest week of my life!
