Radiotherapy

Hi,
I know there's been allot of posts on nexavar / sorafenib on this forum but I was wondering has anyone had any positive results from radiotherapy. I'm due to go in for a session soon. What can I expect. Shrinkage, how much? how long till you see any affects. What are the side effects?
My Tumour is on my front chest/stomach. Its actually in a drian site from a previous surgery. I found out recently that this is quite common. At the moment I'm keen to try the radiotherapy as it should be quite localised, and it may be a good test to see how this cancer reacts to this treatment. I tried chemo (captecetabin and cisplatin) and it did'nt work. So I'm hoping this has better results.
