To the best of my knowledge, this is the only non-profit organization raising funds for FHC. Certain patients have held fundraisers for their expenses, but deliver a cure is the only org. that is raising $ for research. To date, the only deliver a cure fundraisers have been organized by myself and our community. We need to do more in other locals!
The American Liver Association does not recognize nor count cases of FHC because the numbers are so low. My own personal observations through this site is that the numbers may be more than 200 but no one is counting. I would love to help/advise anyone interested in holding fundraisers in their communities!!!! Susie
