Michelle, the reason I was asking your age is that although it hasn't been unheard of, typically, FHC occurs in very young adults-the research says from 15 to 25 years of age. We have had FHC patients on this site in their thirties. We have been suspecting that there may be variants of FHC. Because your tumor presented outside the liver, there is a possiblility that your tumor may be a variant of FHC--who knows. Because it presented with Fibromallelar strands, your doctors should be up on drugs that appear to be working on FHC.
