I was checking on my husbands Social Security application when I found a new program that the Social Security has established. It is called Compassionate Allowance. If you have 1 of the 50 conditions that are listed, one being liver cancer, you can apply and also be under the Quick Disability Determination program. I applied, using the application and submitted my pathology reports. My application was approved in 15 days. Beware that no one at the Social Security offices seems to be aware of the program, you have to keep after them.
