So sorry to hear about your cousin. Where are his tumours located and what treatment are they giving him? It is difficult to make any suggestions without knowing this.
It sounds to me like you already are doing the right thing for your cousin, so don't be too hard on yourself, i know you feel like you should be doing something to make him better, but being there as a shoulder to cry on or to lift his spirits is just as important.
Keep him focused on the future, that will help him fight.
