I was confused too. My 22 year old cousin was just diagnosed with FHC. He was told this type of cancer was treatable. The outlook sounded good. The more research I do the worse it sounds. He doesn't know any of this yet...maybe he does instinctively, but he hasn't heard it form the doctors and niether has his family. I don't think he or they realize the battle he will have to face. Any advice on the best way to be supportive? I'm trying to only think positive and want to treat him as if nothing is wrong, but I feel lost. I'm sure others in my family do as well. He and my brother are best friends. My brother doesn't know how to handle this. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
