I check in with this site less frequently these days, but will always remember it, and those of you that post to it, as a valuable and cherished resource for those similarly situated. It was comforting, but sad, to know there were others. My daughter, Courtney, 21, passed about a year and one-half ago. I am disheartened by postings of those recently diagnosed, but am hopeful for all of you. If there is anything I can do, please contact me. We live in LA, and tried everything for Courtney. We have copious information regarding treatments, doctors, hospitals, and, of course, lots of our own experiences, victories, defeats, and sadness. Keep fighting.
