Hi Sandy, I know no one can answer my questions, I'm just frustrated with no one having any answers on how to treat this form of cancer. It seems to affect people differently, so I know there's no standard treatment. On the day of her diagnosis back in July 2007, the surgeon told us her prognosis was poor, but she will fight as long as she is able. She has asked her oncologist to bring on the "Big Guns" for chemo treatment. She is already so thin and can't afford to lose any more weight. Thank you for your prayers, Sandy. I have been watching this site for quite sometime before I posted an entry. Nikki's story reminded me so much of what my daughter has gone through.
It has been helpful for me to see what kind of treatment others are getting. It's so sad that it hits so many of our young people. Thanks again for your prayers, Sandy. I will be praying for Nikki, too.
