Hi Carrie,
yes indeed it is a very rare disease,according to statistics from the american cancer society,it affects 1 out of 5.000.000 people every year.
This is the reason why doctors dont know much about chemotherapy against it.
It usually gives lymph nodes after the primary tumor in the liver.The hazard is for the first 8 years after the surgical treatment.
I as saidin the previous post now have lymph nodes.I am receiving chemo now,gemcitabine and oxaloplatine,and in a couple o weeks i will be operated.
So far as known surgical treatment is the only solution for our problem.
