Hi Essgirl,
My name is Alison and I live in Oxford.
I was first diagnosed with fhc in Dec 2000, I dont get treated in Oxford, i have to go to Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge for this.
Your doctors go along the same route as mine, and i tend to live a fairly normal life ( with the pain-but u get used to that).
I have had 1 recurrence so far and my surgeon and doctors have siad that they will keep a close eye on me and will catch it while its still small, unlike the 1st time.
What hospital did u have your op, and what are your doctors names? I am due back for a scan and consultation in January.
Where in England do you live?
