Hi Alison,
It's been awhile since I've been on the site so I'm trying to catch up! Thanks for your reply, I told Marcilio that you still have pains and especially in the drain areas. I just can't believe he still has these drains 9 months after the surgery. His operation was November 13th. His pains from the drains have been horrible the last few days. It seems that when his liver drain (which brings the bile to the intestine) will get clogged, bile gets forced out of the leak in the liver and this creates more pain in the left side of his body. Then the side drain picks up the leaked bile and eventually drains it all out, but the bile we were told is very irritable to the surrounding tissues so I guess that's why it hurts so bad. Unfortunately he still isnt gaining weight, even though he eats great and even downs an Ensure shake every day. The nexavar is going well also. I'm so happy about your scan and hope that everything stays that way for years to come! Congratulations, keep up the good fight
