YES! Yes, if they are not offering surgery, try everything there is! You have to act quickly always as it increases your chances of winning against the cancer. My husband also had a large tumor in the liver and lymph node. Four months post-op there were two in the liver and maybe in another node so he went on IV Gemzar and radiation to the liver for 7 weeks. He successfully completed that and is now on Nexavar 800 mg daily. we won't get a scan till August since all this treatment but we are 100% positive that it worked! He is feeling better and better each day. We've moved to East Lansing and I've completed my first day of medical school As for Nexavar, Marcilio has had few symptoms, his feet are a little swollen but he can still walk fine. Other than that he has no problems with it and his oncologists will have him continue taking it until it does cause a problem. Take care and be aggressive with the system! Fight always!
