Lapatinib and Everolimus

Hello everyone. My husband passed away due to a blood clot in his liver which was caused by an unoperable tumor (FHC). Before he died, though, he was in a clinical trial that actually seemed to be stopping the growth of the tumor. The drugs that he was taking were Lapatinib and Everolimus. He wasn't on the treatment long enough to know for sure that it was helping, but the indications were that it was helping. I thought that people might want to know about the treatment just in case. The trial was through the Southwest Oncology Group (many research hospitals belong to this group).
My prayers are with all of you as you fight this disease.
