hi kristina, you are very brave, and have to keep on doing so. my children are now 18 and 14, but were much younger when i was first diagnosed 6 yrs ago. i was lucky at first as my surgery worked, but i was doubtful if i could ever cope with a 2nd operation- well, i did, and i did it for my kids. if i hadnt, i might never have sen my eldest daughter compete in miss england, and go on to graduate from college with all distinctions, which means her being accepted into oxford university, and also going through the trials and tribulations of my youngest(who has admitted she does not want to learn and refuses to go to school half the time). your children are your life(as i have learned). i feel as though i have been allowed to go through the life challenges of my children for a reason, and for this , i will always be grateful. i was lucky that i did not have to have chemo or radium, and for this, i will always be grateful to my doctors. i thank my lucky stars every day that i am here to celebrate life, and intend to make the most of it while i still can. grab whatever chance you have. alison xx
