Ina- Ben has been on Nexavar since October. He started at 400mg and had to be taken off for three weeks--he's been on 200mg since. The doctor feels that doseage is effective for him. Younger people have more severe side effects with Nexavar than older people. Some additional side effects began in January. Beginning in May, he takes a 3 day "drug holiday" once a month and that seems to lessen the side effects. We hope to add Avastin once he has made a decision on surgery. We'll keep you posted! Susie
