Hi Kristina, So sorry you have to go through this. Nexavar seems the new drug which doctor believes it has shown some effects comparing with the old chemo. My daughter has started Nexavar at begining of June with full dose 800mg. First 8 days no side effect but then all of sudden, skin rash break out so severe that doctor has ordered to stop. One week later the rash almost gone. Then we started with lower dose 200mg. After 9 days, there seems no side effect, she just started 400mg. Doctor want to find the max dose which she can tolerate. So perhaps the best is for you to get on with treatment & dose which hopefully does not debilitate your daily routine too much. But we are still at the begining of it. We can not say if she can tolerate 400mg (half dose) over the time. Someone in this site may have more experieces to share. I also want to know if the side effect is built up over the time. I really hope that you can have the treatment which still allow you to enjoy the kids. Keep strong and love to you and kids.
