It is very sad to hear that a child is suffering from cancer.I am 22 had fibrolamellar ca,but hepatectomy was not possible, only transplantation.I was transplanted and now i take nexavar, 2 pills a day. I have to mention that Susie is right. In addition,it might help your son,but doctors are not sure that nexavar helps people with fibrolamellar, because there are so few cases. In the usa 1 in 5 million people every year discovers that has this type of cancer and in most of them it is very late because there are no symptoms.Like me ,i found out that i have fibr.ca in a check up i do every year, there were no symptoms but i had only 4 months to live..
Now 8 months after the transplantation i take nexavar and i am clear. Your son must take it.I am greek and one of the 3 famoust doctors in europe advised me to take it. good luck and dont forget to do mri exams every 3-4 months and a pet scan might be usefull...
