In terms of cancer, Ben is doing great. We just saw his oncologist today and he doesn't need scans for 6 months. He has had no new growth since August, 2006!!!!!! Since the Neavar is working, there are no plans to take him off of it. He had had so many metastitic tumors in the past, the chance of more growing is great. He is on a very low dose. However, he has chronic chest pain which may be a result from all his surgeries, meds etc... they will never know exactly why. The pain is totally disabling so he can't work or lead a "normal" life style. We are still exploring options to manage the pain more effectively.
Let us know what the oncologist suggests--Be insistent!!!! Susie
