Threre is a large group out there that believes nutrition is the key to fighting off and curing cancer. Of course, it would require you to be deprived of the delicious unhealthy food (I cheat a bit every so often). There is a great book called "Anticancer: A New Way of Life" by David Servan-Schreiber that you might want to check out. It has some amazing stories and a few of my cancer buddies swear that this is what cured their cancer.
I have not heard anything about this operation, but it sounds like a complete clense followed by just healthy eating. I have heard too many stories from friends and others to think there is not some validity to the whole healthy living thing. I am very interested in the operation if you wouldn't mind keeping me posted when you meet with them again.
And who knows, maybe treating FHC is that simple. I am currently on more chemo drugs than I care to mention and trying to keep weight on as well as eat healthy (which is not easy, so I sneak a cheeseburger in here and there) and would love an alternative.
