Hi my name is Warren, I'm 27 and based in the UK. I've recently been diagnosed with FHC. I've gone in for a liver resection but have found that the cancer has ruptured and spread to my abdomen. (On my diaphram and microscopic legions elsehere). I meet with a new oncologist tommorow. The plan is to undego more surgery to remove as many tumours / metastatic tumours as possible. But then to wash out my inards with 'hot' chemo, the process is called 'Hot intraperitoneal chemotherapy'. Has anyone had any success with this method or undergone such a treatment? I will also find out if a traditional chemo course will be followed, apparently Nexavar is'nt available in the UK, does anyone know of any UK alternatives?
