I hope your scan is okay, hopefully it will be as you are starting to feel a bit better. I was given anti-depressants a few years ago from the pain management team as apparently some of them work on the nerve endings, but they didn't work for me. I have always sworn by a tens machine for pain releief after my operations. You can get them in Lloyds chemist for £10-15. They are really good as they work by blocking the pain signal and it stops me popping painkillers all the time. I still use it now when needed. Its really weird that you mention about fainting, as I had a couple of incidents of this, and was thoroughly tested by my Consultants team(they kept me in hospital for 2 days running every test they could think of), but couldn't find anything at all that caused it. What hospital are you at again? They seem to move really slowly. I get the results of my MRI scans 2 days after it is done. I know that they can tell there and then when it is a CT scan although your doctors have to have a look at it 1st. Do you feel better for being back at work or is it really tiring you out? Hopefully the news will be good news. Keep us informed.
Alison
