Amanda: If the growths can be surgically taken out--I would do it and follow it with chemo. I can't even count any more how many metastic tumors Ben has had removed. During one surgery, the doctor "may have forgotten to take out one of the tumors" and we tried chemo--eventually it grew and had to be taken out. We're waiting to hear from the surgeon now about another tumor which is very small but we would like to get it out! There are no easy answers and since we still don't have a chemo that we definitely know works------Stay strong and know you're in our thoughs and prayers!! Susie
