Theo: I don't know of many other FHC patients who have had a transplant. Unfortunately, most FHC patients are not candidates for trasplantation as metastatic disease is most often present upon diagnosis. My son has been on Nexavar since October, 2006 with no recurrance of disease. From what we have learned on this site, Nexavar appears to be more effective if it's started in the absence of tumors, so it sounds like a great idea for you to start on it now. My son takes a minimal doseage of 200mg/day which his oncologist feels is enough through monitoring his side effects. Good luck and keep in touch!!!! Susie
