About David
David Bibey, a 24 year old male, was diagnosed with FHC in October of 2003 while attending college in Tallahassee FL. David had lost almost 100 pounds while away at college: most of the weight loss occuring in the last three months before he was hospitalized and before the FHC diagnosed. David underwent a year of very aggressive chemotherapy which almost killed him during his first treatment. The chemo stopped the thumor growth and caused some minor shrinking. David had a chemoembolization of the tumor on his liver in April of 2005. Soon, David will start a clinical trial drug called Trisenox at Moffitt Cancer Research Center in Tampa FL. Right now, David feels great, almost better than he ever did. He challenges this disease with faith in God and a positive attitude that this is just another bump in the road of life.
